Twenty years on, our paths have crossed again...
Our creative complicity and boundless energy come together and plunge us into Moroccan craftsmanship and know-how. Here and there, together or remotely, we develop new store layouts, window displays, a new jewelry line, bags, scarves, we hunt, we seek, we find marvels of yesterday and today, and everything becomes an idea, a possibility, a project... this effervescence is everywhere: from the narrow streets of Marrakech's medina, to the fairy-like hands of the workshop's embroiderers, from the Dar Kawa riad, a secret jewel box, to the boutique where all the creations are displayed.
My work is versatile, punctuated by the variety of creative projects on the go.
Valérie's workshop
Handicrafts are the speciality of this workshop, immersed in colors, embroidery, threads, beautiful fabrics, trimmings... a few manual machines and the fingers of a fairy carry out the most varied challenges.
The Marrakech boutique
In the heart of the medina, this boutique showcases Valérie Barkowski's creations, which highlight local know-how: pottery, accessories, household linen, clothing, jewelry... all cohabit with details that make a difference.

Dar Kawa riad
A lively, welcoming place, timeless, lulled by the song of the muezzin and the birds, each room is decorated with linens created by Valérie.
The sun-drenched central patio is intoxicating with the scent of orange blossom.
